The Throwaway Scene
Rock/emo band The Throwaway Scene are heavily led by narrative visual pieces with an aim to not only create catchy pop-rock chorus’ but also meticulously illustrate their individual ‘scenes’ to create a unified art piece with purpose and meaning.
Having released as a 100% DIY effort at the beginning of 2022, The Throwaway Scene have already had multiple features on BBC Introducing and were chosen as “Demo of the Month” by Sharptone records.
Their debut gig saw them open for a sold out show with Static Dress in Manchester, following up with appearances at Burn It Down festival in Torquay, Throwfest in Cardiff and support slots alongside Lonely the Brave. The band completed 2022 with a further tour run alongside new alt up-comers Love is Noise.
After an impressive first year the band plan to continue showcasing their trade-mark striking visual pieces throughout 2023 with a co-headline tour planned and more releases.
