The Great Leslie

Indie rock band The Great Leslie began their recording career with a bang back in 2020 when their first single release was selected by BBC Introducing as the programme’s ‘Track Of The Week’.

Since then the band have enjoyed success with a number of releases across various media including three of their singles being selected for the Apple Editorial playlist ‘New In Rock’ in 2022, all of which then aired globally.

Of those singles ‘Feel Alive’ was featured on Spotify’s  ‘Hot New Bands’ playlist and chosen as ‘Track Of The Day’ by Gigslutz and supported by both Radio X and Kerrang! Radio. Another one of the three ‘All Good Things’ was positioned in Tidal’s ‘Uk Indie: Best Of 2022’.

On top of this the band saw support from the late Janice Long BBC Wales, Jim Gellatly at Amazing Radio, Planet Rock and Islington Radio to name just a handful.

The Great Leslie’s release of ‘Out Of My Hands’, featured on Channel 4’s show Sunday Brunch and with tens of thousands of Spotify streams and YouTube views, the band are definitely moving in the right direction.

Securing a support slot for Franz Ferdinand on their European tour and playing in front of thousands of people in Manchester at the O2 Victoria Warehouse has been a highlight, as well as appearing at sell out shows with up and coming bands such as  Moses, Two Day Coma and Late Night Honeymoon .
