One of the core values of The Willow Festival is to present opportunities to those who may have little. To give the chance for people to express themselves in what they love doing.
That is why we are laying the foundations to create a new initiative for 2023, The Music Hub.
The hub will consist of multiple music-led organisations across the city, showcasing their hard work and their amazing outcomes to those who benefit.
It will also be an area where musical tutors from the local area to showcase their skills, to give the opportunity to those interested in the music industry to ask questions, find our more about the industry with a view to taking up a musical instrument, or creative writing, or even singing!
Open from 12pm – 6pm on both the Saturday and Sunday at The Willow Festival , The Hub will be situated in the north end of the event site, and is a great opportunity for children, young adults or even older folk to build some confidence and find their calling, whether it be as a hobby or even to take it further.
We will announce these organisations and key musical figure-heads from the area over the coming weeks.
If you know of anyone who has shown interest in the music industry, but never found the right avenue to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity for them
