Cambridgeshire band Nick Corney + The Buzz Rats release their new EP, Dark Side Of The Man.
The 5 track Ep was engineered and produced at North Acre Studios by Jake Day (of Tom Lumley & The Brave Liaison) who worked closely with Buzz Rat members James Taylor and Keith Doe as well as rising talent Oli Smith on this the first of three releases planned this year.
The band are back together after a break and are excited to be playing the new material at venues and festivals across the region with new Buzz Rat Chris Barrie on bass guitar
Nick says: ‘There’s been a lot of uncertainty over the last few years and I wanted to write some material that reflected this period with a mix of positivity and my usual melancholic touch.
The title track Dark Side of the Man was written for my neighbours and now close friends after we made a regular thing of meeting in the street and sharing a new bond.
